How To Produce a Rockin NEW Company Video

No longer are the days that a handy-dandy brochure will get you noticed…in today’s world- IT’S ALL ABOUT VIDEO. As I have mentioned in blogs before, YouTube reports that people spend over 6 BILLION hours each month watching videos on their site!! That is insane! Needless to say, if you are part of an organization or business that doesn’t have a video explaining what you do, we need to get on the ball stat.

Now back to producing your video. What will it take to not only make a video, but a great one!?

#1. Hire a Professional

Please don’t attempt to buy or invest in any professional equipment that you will waste hours on trying to figure out how to do it yourself. If you are trying to save money, you will spend more by buying the wrong gear and downloading the wrong editing software. There are very talented and trained professionals who will save you time and the headache of trying to become a world-renowned film maker. Video production is one of our expertise here at HeartFire Media and we handle everything from concept creation, script writing, shooting, editing, special effects and more. As a producer myself, I pride myself in being excellent at project management and customer service. When you work with me I not only give you creative ideas, I can make the process easy and execute in an extremely timely manner. You won’t be waiting months for a project to be completed, maybe a few weeks MAX. In this industry, customer service can be lost in the ‘artist’ world, at Heartfire Media we bring your vision to life and if you aren’t happy, I’m definitely not happy.

#2. Think Outside of the Box

How will you stand out against your competitors? What are some really creative things we can do to make this video have a lasting impression? We love being creative! That’s what we do! One of my personal favorite things is to come up with a really cool concept for a client and then execute. Watching a great commercial project air on TV is a neat feeling. Let’s do it!

#3. Have a Solid Script

Effective messaging is one of the most challenging things my clients come across when writing a script. Based upon how long your video is (shouldn’t be more than 2.5 mins online) you have to get your point across to the audience within the first 30 seconds! The key to keeping their attention is to write from the heart and make it relatable. Also, write your script on an elementary school educational level . No big words or industry lingo. Don’t have writing skills? No worries! We can take care of that too. Concepts from scratch are my favorite and I am always available to assist in script writing for my clients.

#4. Don’t Forget the Call To Action

At the end of your commercial, how can potential clients get a hold of you or learn more about your company? Make sure your contact info is always in clear view. Next question to think about is… how do you want them to contact you? “Call Now” “Visit Our Website” “Register Today” are all examples of calls to action for your leads, don’t leave these out.

#5. Learn About the Costs

As we all know if the creative industry, you get what you pay for. I have written a blog on the full video production process and what goes into making quality work. We are the best video company in San Antonio and you can learn from my previous blog here why your investment will be well worth it.

All of the items above are the key ingredients to making a Rockin’ company video. If you are thinking of having a video produced for your company, I would love to help. I can walk you through the process and make it as fun and effective as possible. I always tell folks, there is no use in making a video if you don’t have a plan for distribution. I ‘m here to help you figure it all out. You can hear all about our work from our client’s themselves.

Let’s have a record breaking year and think creatively!  I wish you all many blessings in 2015 and look forward to doing business.

CHEERS,

Samantha Najera
