Janie Martinez Gonzalez is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Webhead, one of the largest privately held women owned Web and Cyber Security Companies in the City of San Antonio. She is an internet pioneer, technologies and industry leader who has paved the way for minorities, men, and women in the entrepreneurship and tech community.

With five-hundred dollars in cash, credit cards, a college education, and an entrepreneurial drive, she was determined to break the cycle of poverty and stereotypes of Latinas’ careers. As a junior in college, Janie co-founded her company. She would become first Hispanic woman to own and operate a web development company on the Westside of San Antonio who leverage the talent of Our Lady of Lake and resources on the neighborhood.

Her business and technology market acumen grew Webhead to a multimillion dollar company supporting a customer portfolio of twenty-eight million in contracts in twenty-two years. Under her leadership, Webhead continues to innovate in the areas of Application Security, Internet Operations, GIS Technologies, and API Management.

Today Janie is seen as a go-to motivational keynote speaker for young minority women and men pursuing careers in STEM and associations that want to learn how to leverage technology to communicate, collaborate, innovate, train, and educate. With her background as a tech entrepreneur, strategic, and operations leadership, she honed her skills to motivate, mentor and lead individuals to successfully purse their dreams, succeed in business and careers.
