Edward Leos has been active locally, regionally and nationally since graduating from Incarnate Word College in 1993. Upon graduation, he took a position as an account executive for a start-up tourism magazine called the Hotel Guide of San Antonio. After just a couple of years working for them, he became Associate Publisher and eventually purchased The Hotel Guide – which he continues to operate as a nationally-distributed travel magazine. The bi-monthly, digital magazine is direct e-mailed to 12 million travelers yearly and seen online and via their social media networks.

Leos is a serial entrepreneur and owns a creative marketing firm – Destination Marketing Group, is a certified John C. Maxwell Leadership coach, speaker, and trainer and is also aligned with IDLife – a customized health and wellness company.

Being a San Antonio native and coming from a strong Hispanic family deeply rooted in giving back, he has made a steadfast commitment to giving back in various non-profit leadership roles. From helping Eva Longoria launch her first non-profit event to overseeing Brighton School, Inc. and their FIESTA event – A Taste of the Northside, Edward has held leadership roles. He takes those positions on boards very seriously and has always risen to Chairman of the Board in every non-profit he has been a part of. He currently sits on a state travel board for Texas via the Texas Travel Industry Association, is also immediate past Chairman of the Board for the University of Incarnate Word’s Alumni Association and just recently was selected as the incoming Chairman of the Board for Incarnate Word High School.

Family and being active are also hallmarks of his. He is married to Jennifer and has three awesome kids – Garrett (19), Kendall (13) and Lauren (12) and they are all proponents for a healthy lifestyle. To date, Edward has run nine marathons and continues to play basketball and softball. Running has helped keep his health in check and offered a wonderful outlet for life’s daily challenges.

We want to thank Edward for personally mentoring us and many business owners in San Antonio. With his incredible work ethic and wonderful personality, he has achieved so much not just personally but for the many non-profit organizations, he leads.
