Jason Cox was born and raised in San Antonio. He graduated from Central Catholic and St. Mary’s University. After a postgraduate adventure in Mexico, he realized he had a passion for dancing. He began a career in ballet at the age of 26 and recently finished his career, ending with a 5-year position with Ballet San Antonio.
Jason created Marrow Match™, a non-profit organization committed to raising awareness about the realities of marrow collection in order to grow the national registry with viable, educated and dedicated donors. His passion is fueled by his own life-saving marrow transplant in 1986.
“It is unacceptable that a person in need of a bone marrow transplant will die because their match was not on the registry. Marrow Match™ is committed to raising awareness about the realities of bone marrow donation in order to increase the number of viable, educated, and dedicated donors” – Jason Cox
Jason is fully committed to igniting life both by matching a patient to a donor and inspiring people to live out their deepest passion.
