The nonprofit world is welcoming 21 highly trained professionals into its ranks. The new nonprofit CEOs are members of the 2018 Andeavor Leadership Fellows cohort. They recently completed a nine-month intensive training course at the San Antonio Area Foundation.

As part of the Andeavor Fellows Program, participants receive in-depth leadership training provided by HOLT Development Service, Inc., nonprofit management training led by local experts, and hands-on mentoring/coaching from seasoned nonprofit CEOs.

The Andeavor Leadership Fellows program is open to nonprofit CEOs who have less than five years of experience and executive leaders poised for the next step into the CEO ranks and are selected via a competitive application process.

San Antonio Area Foundation: The San Antonio Area Foundation is the community foundation serving the San Antonio Area for more than 50 years. The Area Foundation helps donors achieve their charitable goals and serves as a collaborative leader, investing in the future of our community by bringing people together to address key community issues. The Area Foundation manages more than 500 charitable funds and $901 million in assets. Since 1964, $305 million for scholarships and grants have been awarded to nonprofits that educate youth, preserve the environment, protect animals, fund research and provide a variety of services that enhance the quality of life in our region.

We would like the highlight two of our clients who recently graduated from the program: Nikisha Baker, Chief Development Officer for SAMMinistries, and Tara Roussett, Chief Executive Officer for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children Texas.
