Marina is currently an Innovation Business Development Director at USAA. In her role, she builds and creates partnerships with high-tech startups for USAA Labs.
Marina graduated from St. Mary’s University with her BBA and earned her MBA from DePaul Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
Prior to her time with USAA, Marina was at Rackspace for seven years holding various leadership positions and technical roles.
Marina was also the founding Executive Director of Tech Bloc. Tech Bloc is a local tech advocacy group who helped rally support to keep rideshare in San Antonio as well as work with the city and county’s economic development teams to make San Antonio attractive to a creative class of workers.
Outside of work, Marina chairs the MOVE San Antonio board, was recently appointed to the VIA board, serves on the Ella Austin Community Center board, the St. Mary’s University Alumni Association, and the Bexar County Child Welfare Board.
She was a founding board member of New Leaders Council- San Antonio Chapter. Marina was also a part of Leadership San Antonio (LSA) Class 40 and currently serves on the LSA Steering Committee.
Most recently, Marina was named one of San Antonio Business Journals 40 under 40.
